Clean up guys....

I have read that I can use a few members of the saltwater world as a cleanup crew in a brackish tank…. My Fig 8 does not seem to like shells that are too big so I am thinking that some sort of crab would be ok as long as they had a good shell and could tolerate the lower salinity, between 1.005 and 1.008…. Any ideas?

Hmmm... that's a good one. I'm not sure about the salt side of things, but if I remember correctly they can handle the salinity change as long as it's slow (but please don't quote me on this, I may be blowing smoke).

They were my next stop.... freaking brackish water.... took like 2 hours last night to mix the water and get everything setup.... thinking that freshwater puffer idea is not so bad (JK)

haha, I did a brackish tank for a long time. It wasn't too bad, you get used to it.

It is not too bad, not like it is much work, it just not as easy as freshwater....
