Chris, I haven't been to JFP in a awhile. Although, I still think I've got room for 1 or 2 more africans. Also, they are supposed to be finding a couple large angels for me.

Andrew, I have a Canon S3 IS. I just LOVE the super macro! I'm still not getting the best fish shots but, that's not the camera's fault. Dirty glass that I can't reach to clean is REALLY hurting me! LOL But, with the super macro I can take shots like this:

That's right, I knew I've seen some of those shots before (or at least some like them).

I'll definitely have to look into getting one of those Canon S3 IS cameras.

My Olympus just isn't what it used to be.

Now they have the Canon S5 IS, not sure if you can still get the S3. Might be worth looking into though... you know the newer models always cost WAYYYYYYYY more.

S3 is a good camera, I considered getting one, but I am too much into bells and whistles I will probably never use.... the new upgrade looks equally as good….

I am getting a new camera to replace my Canon Pro Shot 1 (BTW if you can still find them they are awesome cameras but last I checked they were still in the $600 range for a non-SLR but better then the average point and shoot....). I am going to get the Canon 30d or Sony A100, leaning more to Sony for the IS....

Yeah, I was just looking up the different Canon models and found the G9 at $500, G7 at $400, the S5 IS at $350 and the S3 IS at $275.

The G9 is 12 mp, G7 is 10mp, the S5 is 8mp and the S3 is 6mp. You can still get the S3, but it has been superseded by the S5 on Canon's website (Canon only has info on the S5, not the S3 but you can still find them on Amazon).

Guess I'll start making plans to get one for Christina for Christmas :D (lol, that's how we got all of your cameras).

Welcome from another new member! Love those photos of your Danes and tanks! My husband and I are owned by two Danes too! They are such total attention-wh*res! My game-room has been converted to their room, where they have two sofas to sleep on.
I have a cheap Kodak Easy-share digital, and you can really tell the difference in quality with yours. Where did you get your Texas Holey Rock? I think they make your tanks look great!

Of course the quality suffers when uploaded to YouTube...on my puter, my videos look MUCH better! It also allows you to snap photos while you are using the video mode. Pretty cool... The ONE thing I don't like about this camerea is having to remove the batteried to charge them. With my old Kodak I could plug in the camera OR remove the battery to charge.

I got my holey rock at Exotic Aquatics before they moved their location. I don't know if they have any at the new place... didn't the last time I was there. That was a few months ago.

It makes me feel really good that he spoke well of me. Also I would love to be able to shop around there more often, just so far of a drive for me. I thought highly of him though, as well as the stock. Very good quality and health etc.

not tellin- they were too far- in sheoty traffic, the first guy wasn't budging on price I had to tell the second guy how unhappy I was before he budged. I still paid more than JFPs. The fish selection was on par with a Petco and it was a long drive home. The beer store didn't have oil cans- only Mickeys... HATED IT!!
