i need to do a water change for my fry... they are all about the size of a pin head and are in a shallow plastic bowl right now... any ideas?

Put a couple of layers of cheese cloth over the siphon hose?

Home depot or lowes in the paint area is about the cheapest I have seen.

Hmmm I wonder if the flow rate (even with a sock/filter) might harm them? If you have a filter (say a sock) how do you get the junk outta the tank, or are you just changing out the water?
Guess it's a hit or miss science, but I'll need to be trying it soon :eek:
i use a turkey baster to clear water of any waste,then siphon off 3-4 gallons from my 10g into a white 5 gallon bucket. I always let my bucket settle and then check it to see if some fry got transfered during the water change.
