I have these cool duckweed plant type plants (Spira Della) that tend to hide behind the filter and die. So I wanted to contain them under the light and away from the filter.

So I cut up a pool noodle and created this:

It's held together at the "T" with a single toothpick and wedged between the glass. cost about $1.00 and as you can see, my gourami LOVES it. The shrimp use it too. Priceless!!

A. I'm colorblind- Purple=blue ...have you seen my truck? It's dark Blue/Purple.
B. Walmart is VERY limited in it's selection- in all actuality- the noodle was free. :hehe:

Are you still keeping the weed alive or letting it go?

And how long did it take before it was overgrown and coming over the container?
