I've got a Koi that's about 4 inches long that I was wondering about with two small blood parrot cichlids. Would they just gang up on the Koi?

google will tell you that each fish have different water requirements as well as food and what not, also different temperament so the answer is....

Omg, why are you a douche tony... I have koi with bluegills and Texas cichlids in my pond. Yes they can live together if there is space....
The parrot cichlid is a mut from American cichlids and ornamental gold fish if I'm not mistaking.. koi are carp Auchan can with stand wide ranges of ph.

Actually I have searched google for temperature requirements and obviously if they didn't match I wouldn't even bother. I am more concerned about the particularly aggressive behavior that my two cichlids have been exhibiting as of late. I hadn't heard of Texas Cichlids though, I'll check them out!

there are the exceptions to every rule, just depends how responsible you want to be. I'm sure somewhere theres a lion living with a sheep

how the f am i being a douche? all of this can be solved by googling the infos on each fish and comparing the two... obviously this dude doesn't have a pond if you were to read his other posts, not all parrots are mutt... there is a true parrot but you knew that i hope.
Parrot is a cichlid and ornamental gold fish? are you fcking serious?!?!?!
They both required different diets and that parrot will pick on those kois if given the chance..

Kois require cooler water than parrots and very different diets so i wouldn't even bother. There are so many other choices out there to house your parrots with so why go with a koi?

..... Yes a mutt, much like the flowerhorn. And I do understand that there is a true parrot. Bad part is the common fish know as "parrot cichlid is usually the big orange hybrid.
You were stating that he should Google it, in your signature it qualifies his question stupid. This is a site for the help of knowledge to keep fish. We're here to help, there are no question is stupid.

x2 However saying you can put goldfish/koi with cichlids wasn't the best recommendation either

jimmysmu is already telling us that his parrots are displaying aggressive behavior, I think cichlids with cichlids and koi with koi. my humble opinion.

koi and some cichlid can be kept together but it is hit or miss(most won't work), you also need a very big tank/pond! longfin koi can stand a large range of temperature, they can do well in the cold like normal koi and can stand the heat up to 100 degree!

this is funny.. i like opinions from people here more than i like google...
If you have the money for error .... try it! but as stated earlier by sigmar... probably not the best combination.
