Well I saw a thread about people posting and not introducing themselves first so here it goes.
My name is Trent, I live S. Arlington and have kept FW for about 20 years. Currently I keep wild Angels and love them to tears. I have also kept SW for about 8 years. In my past I have raised Veiled Chemeleons for wholesale and do architectural drafting on the side. This seems like a real nice website w/ informative people and hope I can contribute some.
:)

Welcome to the box! Glad to have you join us.

Yeah, we have a lot from S. Arlington (hint, hint,... time for another South Arlington MANSFIELD g2g!!!!)

Very beautiful angels you have there. I am wanting to setup my 90 as angels, gouramis, and tetras, + heavily planted, but not quite there yet.

Definitely feel free to poke around and chime in on any thread. The more heads thinking together the better :hehe:

Keep an eye on this section. We were having G2Gs about once a month or so, but here recently no one has planned anything.

Start one up if you wish :hehe:

This may sound stupid, but what do you do at G2G's? Go to dinner or go to LFS or what?

I haven't got to go to any G2G's yet other than meeting folks at an LFS once or twice, but mostly they sit around playing poker, knocking a few back, typically a potluck spread or something. Been a few mildly rowdy G2G before as well(potato cannons, broken chairs, & I think one slightly bent automobile) :confuzeld: Usually there is a percentage on the poker game that goes to supporting site upgrades, window decals, club bussiness cards or whatever is needed to promote the board. I guess someone should correct me if I'm off on the details.
Basically from my point of view, it sucks if you don't get to go then you just get to hear about the stories

As long as there's a potato cannon involved, I'm in!

They are usually at a member's house, and there is good food, drinking,poker,fish-talk and gandering, and just sitting back and laughing with friends. You just never know what those 'boys' will be up to from one G2G to the next! We are just one big melting pot that loves to laugh and talk fish!

I saw your video ElijahTurtle and that would be fun, as long as we had a fire extinguisher!

I would love to see some fire-breathing! I want to shoot a spud-gun too!

Yeah I've done some fire breathing & other fire arts in the past. I had a few friends at college & we used to practice once a week spinning & breathing & did a couple of exhibitions.
Until I made that video, I hadn't done any fire stunts since I met my wife, been trying to be a good boy ;)
But that's likely to change since I started playing with fire again
