round two

angels spawned again tonight for the second time in the new tank. I'm not removing dad this time and I am kicking myself for not having a tank set up to artificially raise the babies. They are actually easy to remove. THis time they laid them on the leaves of an anubias that floated up. they seem to be taking care of them well...but I am not holding my breath for them to stick around long. Just thought I would update everyone so you can comfort me when I loose eggs again. :p: My own fault for not having an extra tank though.

eggs made it through the night. mom and dad both taking care and this time removing fungused eggs! yay, we will see how it goes. Not really sure how long the eggs had been there, I came home last night and noticed them. They could have just spawned or the could have earlier in the day, so don't know quite how old the eggs are. I'll keep you updated.

Do you still have plans in the works for getting a breeding/grow out tank for 'em?

I do have the plans, but I don't want to set anything else up right now, I will be moving in July and the less to move and stress the better. I'm sure they will still be breeding for me then and I will set something up at my new place.

That makes good sense. Seems like a good game plan unless they go a head and keep 'em in the current tank, then you get out without having to buy/setup another tank ;).

well damn. Eggs are gone. I checked about an hour ago and they were still there. Made it about 36 hours just like the last time. When I checked an hour ago there were some that were white with fungus but most of them were not. Now they are all gone. What the crap is it about the 36 hour mark!! Another sad day. I think they are just screwing with me. They say to each other " haha, watch her get her hopes all up and then we will act like little bitches and eat the eggs!" okay maybe not, but you guys get the point.
