I have a small issue that i would like input on. I have a 125 gallon tank thats been up and running for some yrs now and is now empty cause I needed the space. i was suppose to get new inhabitants as of today but things came up on his part and couldnt make it out. He then lets me know that it wont be 2 wks to a month before he can come thru. Cool no problem. what can i do to continue keeping the beneficial bacteria and bio load at point. I would really hate to add fish for the time being cause i now have alot of Holey Rock and its setup just like i imagined it to. Trust me it would be a pain to remove and re-add the rock just to catch fish. i have 2 emperor 400's and an FX5 for filtration and 2 penguin 1140 powerheads for circulation and aeration if that helps any. any opinions and tips are greatly appreciated.

You could take and add Pure Ammonia into the tank every day. Depending on how much the tank can handle (you would have to add some and test for about a week) Add in the morning and test in the afternoon to insure its at 0ppm. Once you got that you will know how much to add to maintain your Bio live. Gold fish is a lot easier! ^^

Depends. how many fish you going to add in a month. I would do 1 gold fish for every 3-4 fish you are planing to put into the tank. Also depends on the size of the Gold fish. Just rem. Gold fish produce a lot of waste (ammonia).

I have 5 angel fish and a geophagus you can have for $15. Angel fish are the easiest fish I've ever had to catch. Like no struggle at all.
