I am trying to make a Filter decision. I have a 55g planted tank, Four 4" Discus, Two 1" Albino Cory's, Three Otto's and Five Amono Shrimp. Two HOT Magnums with a powerless Bio wheel hooked to the ejection port of each Hot Magnum. The problem is not a cleaning problem, my water is crystal clear. I do two 30% water changes a week. The problem is that I have to clean / change the micron filters every time I change my water. Is there a filter that will last at least one week between changes? Any input would be appreciated!
