Any one else having trouble with Water?

Water at my house is horrible!!!

Lost 2 spawns of over 100 betta fry in the last 4 weeks!!!

Figured it out (I hope)...Velvet!!! One of my adults came down with it, and that explains why 50 fry all of the sudden drop dead one day, and the other 50 the next!!!

I have a 3rd spawn of over 100 that have so far made it to 1 week old. The others made it to 9 days and 12 days so I'm not out of the woods yet.

I have started adding salt to my water again, and use Meth Blue and Acriflavine in spawn tanks as preventative.

My water coming out of the frig is "ok"...double carbon filters (internal and external filters)...the water coming out of the tap smells like algae!!!
