Can we make a rule to where the seller MUST post an asking price and location (if none is display on the seller's profile) ?
I am sick and tired of seeing threads with people selling equipments or livestock and we're forced to PM for details..
Let's make it simple.
Please provide as much as information as possible. Pictures are not necessary, but the very first rule of selling is "seeing is believing", borrow a camera and post some pics.
More importantly, please provide prices. That can determine wether I will be interested or not.
If you want auction style, go list your stuff on Ebay.
Thanks for wasting your time on my ranting..

I'm all for that, it annoys me when people don't put prices down as well.
As for the location, I don't know why some people don't list it in their profile...:confuzeld:

And can we make a minimum post count to post in the for sale section?
I see alot of one post wonders who never even seem to come back and answer questions.

I agree Stan, it's annoying as crap!
The admins will work on this and see if we can't come up with a solution (suggestions are always welcome).

Thanks for backing me up on this one. Simply put, this is a for sale forum. At any "sale" there must be a price posted.
If we want best offers, we would've have had an auction forum or best offer forum.
One of the most attractive forum within any message boards is the classifieds section, if we can keep the traffic "lively", full of deals and exciting, it'll bring people to the site. Wether they're just looking for deals or not, some will stay and become a contributing member of the site.

Concerns heard and addressed!!
We will try our hardest to enforce these new rules. If you see a thread that needs attention, feel free to post the classifieds guidelines for them to see it.
Thanks

YEAH!!! WHATEVER EVERYONE ELSE SAID ON THIS POST!!!
waytogo vato!!
I want to see where everyone lives if they are gonig to seel something!!! so I can go get it without paying for it!!!! LOL!!!
good suggestions...like the idea of making sure the environment is good for making deals and keeping people.... we can all agree that if someone is interested in selling items, they should not have any issues with posting a dollar amount, address for helping make a decision on whether the drive is worth it... and a count marker or something that forces them to address the listing anytime they log in.....
thank you all.. for listening to my 2 CNETS

I like the idea as well. Nothing worse than seeing something you would be interested in and then its to far away in another city or state.

x2 pretty annoying to say the least if it's worth $10 and they're asking $1000 but neglect to mention that until post #17 :D.
P.S. welcome to the forums
