can i put my fire eel and spiney zebra eel in the same tank

the zebra one is about 1.5" bigger maybe hes always under the gravel

What size is your tank? A fire eel can grow to around 3 feet and can be a bit aggressive. A zebra will not get near that size (less than half that) If you grow them up together you may not have a problem.

I would guess one or both will jump before long.

Fire eels get big but take a long time to get that size. Talking years...

You definately have to have a good lid for the tank. Even the smallest hole and they are outta there! For some reason they forget that they need water.

My tanks have good tops, the tank I want to put them together right now is 55g but when they get alittle bigger I plan on moving them to my 105, then the 125 and by time they need a new tank ill have my 200+g tank ready.
