Has anyone who keeps the FH got this white long stringy poop sickness?
What is your treatments?
I just got a 2" read GM 2 days ago, he refuses to eat then today I saw him with long white poop stringing on his anus. Is it because of stress due to being new to his new tank?

That could be cauesd by some sort of internal parasite. Metro is pretty good treatment for such things. You might want to try that. And, up your water changes.... lots n lots of nice clean water.

Two ways to cure it.
Clout or Metronidizole
Clout is cheaper and more easily found. Follow the directions.
Not sure why your FH got bloat, but its caused by stress from diet or water. You may want to mix in some Veggie based dry foods like Hikari Excel. Make sure you dont overfeed and dont let nitrates get out of hand.

Thanks guys for the advice,
I did 80% WC and increase temp to ~ 90degF, and added epsom salt. It has been treated this way over 24hrs. The FH seems to get up, and eating some blood worm.
I'll do another WC tonight.

Good luck with that. Im not sure why you are heating him up? You may want to end the bloodworm feast.... read my post above again. Bloodworms tend to bloat certain types of fish up.

Raising temps like that is common treatment for certain types of fish... In many cases it will up the fishes metabolism and get them eating again. Once they are eating, in many cases their bodies can beat what ever is bothering them. Sometimes a raise in temp and adding salt (epsom for bloat or regular for other ailments) is all it take for the fish to heal itself. No meds is a good thing.
Brandy... let me tall ya... Discus are NOT for you! hehehe! I do 50-75% wc everyother day. Many people do that, or more, on a daily basis. When raising babies, those water changes are sometimes done twice a day.
