I would check with Jax. He is moving and may have some for sale.

I got my as mops (eggs) and raised them. They take forever to grow though. They were $20 a mop and I got them from somebody on another forum.

Aquabid is the best place to find eggs and grown rainbowfish especially of the rare sort. Also there are a few rainbowfish forums with a sale section. Also may want to check with Dane at Rift2Reef. He is the only other person that I know that should be able to get hard to find species.

I got some eggs from Gary Lange at the TCA auction. His were in a little vial with about an inch long piece of yarn and some blue water. They have to stay wet for the most part. Everything I have read said to hatch them in a small container like a sandwich container. As they hatch you suck them up with an eye dropper and put them in a small tank with an air stone.

Its pretty basic after that. Clean water and high protein food and 80 degree temp.

I only have four left out of my bunch. There were about 50 eggs. I got twenty wigglers. Then I moved them from a 10g to a 29g. I lost all but four. So much for aclimating.

Mine came in a big yarn mop. I put them in a plastic pond with an airstone and in a few days i had babies. The rainbows are big egg eaters so the put these mops in the tanks so the eggs have a chance. I got about 15 fish from my first try 2 mops and the second batch I got 22 with 2 mops.
