We have to break this tank down tonight when we get to there and it's very green. What all would you take with you? I've never done this before, not at someone else's house anyway.
I have:
Towels
Bucket
Bags and bands for the fish
An old net
Stress Coat-again because the tank is bad and the fish will probably die anyway.
Should we take the water bottle and syphon hose? Anything else we might need that I didn't think of?
And for your viewing pleasure, this is it. I cropped it for size,

It seems to be a 55, right?
scrapers/scratchers to get the "junk" off the walls while the water is draining?

Good one, I'd have left without that!

if you want to increase the chances of the fish living... take some water from your existing tanks... this will help ensure they are better able to breath...
the algae scrapper is a great idea....
a smile cuz you are GETTNIG ANOTEHR FLIPPIN TANK!!!! yeah!!!

I'd take a python. The gravel and everything else can be left in the tank during the move.

Thats all I can think of. I think that water from your tank is a good idea. Give the fish a better chance.

It went good! Got it and a lot of things to go with it. He gave us too much to name.
One reason it was so green is because they had a 20 filter on it and he admitted to getting caught up in paintball and kids too much to take care of it. You couldn't see the fish in it. Poor David was looking for all he was worth and they guy had to get a flashlight to shine in there.
They have a houseful of stuff they're selling because they're moving to Japan in the middle of March.
It was really weird though. We were standing there waiting for the tank to drain and he suddenly said "I made my wife laugh last night"...he grabbed a tube of something and tossed it on the desk. He said "my wife used this when she was pregnant (they have a 10 month old and a 2½ year old). Turns out that she was laughing at him because that tube was nipple cream and he was using it for chapped lips!roflmao

Thank you!:D
A very healthy Tiger Barb, a bent "guppy" which I believe is actually a blue Molly, and three very not right Neons. If, and I use that term loosely, if it does turn out to be a guppy, it will be the biggest guppy I've ever seen! The Guppy Molly and Barb are doing great so far, but I'm not so sure it's the same for the neons.:(
Whatever fish make it, Supersmirky is getting. I can't have a barb and I'm done with guppy mollies, lol.
Also, I don't know how long they were without a male guppy molly but this one might be pregnant.
