Would two of these fish kill each other?

they are super aggrasive when they get big. which leporinus are you looking at there two types. i would google for more info. i think you can have to. but not sure.

:noidea:All I know about them is that they require a large tank and can jump like crazy. I have read that they are more aggressive towards their own species than they are other fish...how aggressive though, I am not sure. If I find anything else on the net I will let you know.

I've seen 'schools' of large ones 10"+ in a 240 in the past. There were L. arcus and L. fasciatus together and they were fine-there were 5-6 if I remember correctly.

Holy cow...look what one guy wrote!!
"The first leporinus I had ever bought was almost four years ago and I added a second one two years ago. They have been very peaceful in my 55gal with a large angel, Parrot fish, red bellied pacu, Gold nugget pleco, common pleco, 3 tiger barbs, giant danios, red eye tetras, two gouramis, red tail shark and two gold fish. One is about 12" (maybe a little larger) the other is smaller about 7"."

Ohhhhh shit....a 12 in in a 55!!! With all those fish....he doesn't have room to chase!!
