It's been years since I've raised Africans.
Peacock? A. jacobfreibergi? Hybrid?

Its a line bred 'red peacock'. Aka Rubin Red, German Red, etc. Lots of variation in these with regards to quality. Very high quality ones will be very orange/red with little colora variation throughout the body.

I was told it was a "Red Fire Queen Peacock" where I bought it

By "line bred peacock" Grey means that this exact fish will not be found in the lake. Rather someone has selectively chosen for specific traits in order to develop the appearance of the species in the direction they wish. Typically a good deal of inbreeding is involved to get to the final product.

Apparently, whatever fishfarm bred this line of fish choose the name they gave at the petstore. In the end, species-wise, I believe it is still a jacobfergi, so keep that in mind in relation to future tankmates.

Looks prett cool, though. How big is he? How much did they charge?

its about 2 inch maybe 2.5 inch it was only $20 but Now I have to decide if I'm going to keep it I like to have my tank like it would be in their real environment

As JMatthew said, breeders make up their own names to be creative and sell product. All of these types are line bred from Aulonocara sp "Stuartgranti Maleri" from Chipoka as a base fish and then either hybridized and bred back to the original fish or simply selectively line bred to get the odd colors. THis one kinda looks like it was bred back through either A. stuartgranti from Chitimba (Maulana Bicolor) or through A. stuartgranti from Chiloelo (Red Flush), but you'll never know.

The ones that are bred through Jacobfreibergi will look similar to Eureka or Swallowtails.
