Here they are! They are wonderful! Not shy or skittish and had thier first meal within ten minutes of being in their new tank.

I ordered them from Gulf Coast Discus near Houston. http://www.gulfcoastdiscus.com/index.htm

The prices are SO much more reasonable that what you will find at a LFS and the quality is like a million times better. Finding a quality breeder or importer is the only way to go! Generally cheaper (even with shipping) and the fish are so much better.

Oh, the surprise was an adorable little high-body checkerboard turquoise. Or, a Tiger... he's still a little dark and I'm not 100% sure. Either way he is ssuper nice. They all are! Super round bodies... not football shaped like you see in the stores.

The pictures I posted were of the actual stock he is selling from. Another plus! I really did know what I was getting. Makes it a bit easier to deal with... I find it hard to buy fish when I can't even see them first. But, I am thrilled with this batch!

Those seem to be a lot bigger than most discus in the stores. Man, you have got to be proud about them beautiful discus!

The pigeons (orange and white) are much bigger than what you normally see in stores. The others are about the same. The difference being their rounder shape and better overall health and quality.
