I have gotten 2 of these from Petco....and they FALL off....I guess the glass is to thick (don't ask me how thick it is.....Women don't know sizes!) Does anyone know where a good one is, catalogs or websites are fine! I bought some handle thing to clean the glass and I am toooo short and I can clean the top 1/4 of it!! :brandy:
I'd go ebay or craig's list.
You need a Large for your 300g. I'd expect to pay $20 on ebay. The small is not just the cleaning surface- it's the power.

Yup brandy you'll need the XL, and they are $30 at any LFS. I have 3/4" glass and that is what I need. My brother has a 240 from GC.com and his is 1/2" so yours will at least be that or 3/4"
Make sure it is the gray one for glass, not the aqua(I think) for acrylic.

I have a big Mag Float that is pretty strong. If it comes loose, the magnet will pull the other half back even if it floats all the way to the back of the tank.
I am toooo short and I can clean the top 1/4 of it!! :brandy:
Are you sure your tall enough to use the mag float? :hehe:
Seems like it would be cheaper to buy a step ladder than an XL Mag float anyhow.

Nothing more attractive then a lady in a bikini, goggles (full face), a snorkel, and flippers cleaning the algae off the inside of a large tank ;).
Hey Skipp- we need a "Pics Please" emoticon
TIA

I have to get on a chair to clean the 1/4 top!! SO ARNOLD you think the 350 mag should do the trick? I'm just asking cause I have spent 50 buck already on 2 failures!!
