Paratherps Zonatus, I have a breeding pair I got from Jeff Rapps. Awesome fish but are super protective after they spawn.

thebassepidemic added 3 Minutes and 8 Seconds later...

I also have two juvies for sale at 15$ if you want some more.

I don't think so. Zonatus have a taller body and are blue (they are supposed to be blue...). The fish in the photo are in the elongated section of the genus (guttulatus, etc). They look like they are in breeding colors which makes it difficult to ID. Do you have any other photos in normal coloration? My guess is that if they are pure they are either guttulatus or hartwegi-probably the former. The real guttulatus is pretty rare and lots of fish coming out of Asia are called this and are really just hybrids.

There are only 8 possibilities if they are pure-synspilus, bifasciatus, zonatus, brehdori, sp coatz..., fenestratus, and melanurus all are taller bodied fish with different colors. Guttulatus and hartwegi are the only two elongated fish in the genus. The photo in the link below is not a good representation of what guttulatus looks like.
