Has anybody ever had this happen?

I was reading about some substrates and how some fish can't handle certain substrates. I don't think the Mexican Mollies could handle the EcoComplete.
You would think I'm crazy if I explained the all differences in the way they're acting but I'm seeing it with my own two eyes, lol. The biggest difference is their health though, they are acting like Mollies now and not some sick fish hiding out on the bottom.

well i know most mollies are from mexico area, just never heard them called mexican mollies, not to mention the differences are so minimal the casual observer wouldn't see the difference

There is one species that is referred to as a Mexican Sailfin Mollie....I am too lazy to look it up.... Google is your friend.

That's what Cahn had these labelled as (Mexican Sailfins), if I remember correctly.
