View Full Version : Looking for a plant

I can't find the tag from it, it's not where I thought it was and I don't think I have any pics of it. I'm hoping somebody can help me if I describe it.
It's a very light green plant with somewhat rounded leaves. It's pretty stemmy and was easy to grow under my old lights (low). I think it only had maybe two leaves to each stem, but I don't think they were both at the top...maybe staggered a bit.
Sound familiar to anyone? I looked at PlantGeek and didn't find it there, is there somewhere else I can look. In the meantime, I'll see if I can find it in one of my pics again.
Thanks

I had the shape of the leaves wrong. This is it...my very favorite plant ever and I'm not sure why, lol. I want some more though.

Is there another Japonica for the aquariums? I don't think the Nuphar is it, it looks rippled along the edges, the one I had wasn't but the "Japonica" part sounds right.

If you can post a better photo--Ill get it.
The other 'japonica' is Blyxa japonica....which that is not what you have in that photo.

Try: Echinodorus cordifolius
or: Saururus cernuus (Lizards Tail)
More pictures would help a lot :D.
