If those Spam hearts were fried they'd make a great sandwich--just add some mayonnaise and you have a heart attack on a plate!

Fried Spam Sammiches! Great camp food!
In the United States, the residents of the state of Hawaii (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hawaii) and the territories of Guam (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guam) and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CNMI)) consume the most Spam per capita. On average, each person on Guam consumes 16 tins of Spam each year and the numbers at least equal this in the CNMI. Guam, Hawaii, and Saipan (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saipan), the CNMI's principal island, have the only McDonald's (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/McDonald%27s) restaurants that feature Spam on the menu; Burger King (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burger_King) now offers Spam on their breakfast menu as well.[6] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spam_%28food%29#_note-5) One popular Spam dish in Hawaii is Spam musubi (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spam_musubi), in which cooked Spam is combined with rice (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rice) and nori (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nori) seaweed and classified as onigiri (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Onigiri).[7] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spam_%28food%29#_note-6)
In Hawaii, Spam is so popular it is sometimes dubbed "The Hawaiian Steak." [8] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spam_%28food%29#_note-7) It is traditionally reheated (cooked), resulting in a different taste than Spam eaten by many Americans on the mainland, who may eat Spam cold.[9] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spam_%28food%29#_note-8) Burger King, in Hawaii, began serving Spam in 2007 on its menu to compete with the local McDonald's chains.[10] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spam_%28food%29#_note-9)
Spam was introduced into these areas, in addition to other islands in the Pacific such as Okinawa (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Okinawa) and the Philippine Islands (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philippine_Islands), during the U.S. military occupation in World War II (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_War_II). Since fresh meat was difficult to get to the soldiers on the front, World War II saw the largest use of Spam. GIs started eating Spam for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. (Some soldiers referred to Spam as "ham that didn't pass its physical" and "meatloaf (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meatloaf) without basic training.")[11] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spam_%28food%29#_note-10) Surpluses of Spam from the soldiers' supplies made their way into native diets. Consequently, Spam is a unique part of the history and effects of U.S. influence in the Pacific.[12] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spam_%28food%29#_note-Star)
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/a/af/Spam_4_types.jpg/180px-Spam_4_types.jpg (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Spam_4_types.jpg) http://en.wikipedia.org/skins-1.5/common/images/magnify-clip.png (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Spam_4_types.jpg)
Four different types of Spam. Clockwise from top left: Garlic, Oven Roasted Turkey, Hot and Spicy, and the Japanese released version of Spam.
In these locales, varieties of Spam unavailable in other markets are sold. These include Honey Spam, Spam with Bacon, and Hot and Spicy Spam.[12] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spam_%28food%29#_note-Star)
In the CNMI, lawyers from Hormel have threatened legal action against the local press for running articles decrying the ill-effects of high Spam consumption on the health of the local population.[1] (http://www.saipantribune.com/newsstory.aspx?newsID=59528&cat=3)[2] (http://saipantribune.com/newsstory.aspx?cat=3&newsID=59336)

Dang, I was gone for one weekend and missed all of the fun.
I would have liked to have received one of the spammer's messages http://www.metroposts.com/images/smilies/devils/devil-smiley-019.gif
I would have spammed 'em back with random spam facts (like sap posted) :hehe:
Thanks for the notice regarding the SPAM violation. Definitely let us know if it happens again.

I feel like I brought this on you folks. I posted my Buddha planted tank on another forum and she Private Messaged me, so I figured her message was only sent to me and had to with me posting the photos of the tank. I did not realize my photos would attract a monster. I am so sorry that I brought this on you fine folks. Mods/admin feel free to delete my tank photos, I would hate to see any other weirdos come out of the woodwork because of them. Thanks.

It's not your fault Homer.
They made the choice to violate our rules regardless what photos are posted on the site. If they wanted to start a legitimate thread regarding religion that's one thing, but to send out SPAM PMs to our users that will get you ban instantly!
