i already know dojo loaches, but what else to make it fun to watch?
cold water, no heater and 30 gallons.:nemo:
i LOVE bubble eyed and black moors but don't know if they'd fight or not...also what kind of hardcore filter system should i use?
and how do i get rid of the cloudy water..it's new..?:confuzeld:

well one goldfish needs 20 gallos of water....I have a comet in my african tank that I used for a starter....and now a yr later he is 6 inches! I also am not sure about dojo loaches...I have 2 but they r in my community tank. I think the only thing that can take the toxins is goldfish.

as soon as squiggy swam out of his bag, iggy and him started rubbing together, heads, noses, sides, like little lovers! it was like Iggy was so depressed until Squiggy came along, and now he has a reason to live!
plus a bunch of long feathery plant that floats and they went to sleep so i turned out their hoodlight.
nightey night sweet fishies!:)

i need some corey cats? little black and white catfishtype fishies and a rubber nosed pleco and some more apple mystery snails and if i can ever catch them again, the dojo weather loaches and that tank will be done....anybody got some extra corey cats? i could just buy them i guess. i wanted to buy some backgrounds at Keller farms today but we had to go, also need to order replacement intake and impeller parts for my filter.

HOLA jj...
on the goldfish and the like... you kinda want to keep those species to themselves.. they are dirty fish in regards to the chemicals they put off compared to other species...they are cold water and therefor prefer cooler temps.... but tolorate temps very well...
for the most part, you will have dificulty keeping anything other than a pleco or the like with them...the pleco will take time adjusting also...
the filtering unit should be OVERKILL... this will help keep a nice tank... anything less and you will constantly struggle to keep parameters up and toxins down....
so... by themselves...
