He is actaully bigger then most of the Psuedotropheus.

I believe its now in the genus Metriaclima.
Google it-yours is a male, females are yellow.

When mine shows all his colors he has a lot more black....
Is that a female in the background?

Yes that is a female in the background, some of my subdominant males turn yellow and mimic the female color when ever the Alpha male is near...
