Something I want to share with Y'all.
After I separated my WC Cyphs and WC Msobo Deep Magunga.
My Cyphs just went nuts and spawned, like 8 females spawned...here 5 of them holding, I can't get all 7 in one take...

I'm understanding the cyps are whores and will breed ALOT.

To me thats just kinda weird.

i may be wrong, but his tank looks bare bottom, so I imagine there isn't anywhere to hide.
I know the red emp females never came out when they were holding.

I have heard that they are whores too. I also read that they won't eat their young.
I wonder why they are so expensive??
Khrister has some very nice tanks!! When I was there many were bare bottom...........easy cleaning. He was setting up 4 more 100g tanks when I was there a couple months ago.
Ditto to what Kewl said.........What variant are they???

Yeah I have a barebottom tank...Easy to clean and they all run on sponges. My Cyphs are Neon Head Chituta...The Alpha or more agrgessive males are neon head with blue tails and fins, the betas have neon head and yellow tail...Whilst the females are just plain ol' silver.

I think they are expensive because they are Wild Caught. The FRY from these WC parents should be a whole lot cheaper.:)
