Dragonfly larva X2!
I've seen one in a friend's tank and not only was it gross, but when it got large enough it swam around and hunted fry and shrimp in the tank. They finally figured it out when it went to the surface and was molting into its flying adult form.

Hell, who cares...fish eat them all the time flying or not. Extra nummies for your swimmers. Gross, but won't hurt the fish at all.

Aw, man! That's so awesome. Next time advertise it in the "Freebies" forum and one of us bug nerds will come take it off your hands! :D They remain in the larval stage for 1 - 3+ years, so they'd certainly make an interesting aquarium addition -- that is, if you can keep them from eating everyone else (see video below) and everyone else from eating them.
As everyone else said, it's a dragonfly or damselfly larva. Damselfly larvae have three "tail feathers" -- their gills. Dragonfly larvae, on the other hand, have their gills tucked neatly inside their abdomens. Since the photo's a bit blurry, it's a little difficult to tell which one it is. He is pretty long and slender, though, which makes me lean toward damselfly.
Either way, cool find!
