idk, looks more like Hypostomus punctatus. i used to have one of these. looks very similar to gibbiceps.

not to jack the thread but does it mean anything when their top fins are fully extended? like they're angry or aggitated as mine flair theirs often

They do that when they get territorial, food aggressive or just happy :p

Thanks for the ID Jim! He is being territorial, chasing fish short distances from his cave in my peacock tank. He defiantly has a honeycomb appearance and he looks great.
