just an idea...i'm an artist, could paint custom backgrounds...

i am a professional artist, (portraits,murals,ex-tattoo artist, etc.) and was thinking of painting in acrylics some backgrounds for my tanks...i could do the same for yall for money or in exchange for supplies and or fishies?

any takers?

i can paint anything very realistically except cars..
acrylics can be washed clean after they dry which is pretty much immediately after done painting. and both sides of canvas or even thick paper can be painted to switch backgrounds just like the commercial :quotexx:"by the yard" ones...:moneyeyes:

and you can even use them in place of rugs on the floor! wash right up, just don't use brillo or anything scratchy. but mops, soap, all fine!

they look cool on the floor in front of tanks. dont have to be fishy related either, can be roses, tattoo flash, ivy, stonework, marble, pebbles, a pond of koi, anything!:)

my murals i have photos of somewhere, tqattoos i have some of my own work on my legs and arms but only a few pics ...i don't tat anymore, just collect them..have over 20 last count including one under my hair on the left side of my scalp of a white tiger jumping over my ear:rolleyes:

At ACA2005 here in Fort Worth, I remember that someone entered a painted tank in the art competition. It might be good for inspiration. I know I have a picture of it somewhere. I'll try to dig it up and post it.

if you are serious, i will drive wherever and you can put me up for the night until the job is done. when i am painting, time does not exist, rather it passes extremely fast in the real world but it's a dreamlike state in my mind/body...it is the best feeling i've ever had! they've literally had to make me stop painting so the bar, restaurant etc can close for the night.

Hmm, now you have me dreaming of what I would want painted! How good are you at landscapes and creatures? Did you find your mural photos? We have a 4 bedroom house out in the sticks, with just George and I, and I am a pretty darn good cook.
