anybody got spare parts?
i hate to toss a good filter that's just missing a tube thingy:rolleyes:
it's the tube that looks like a snorkel and fits on the front of the filter on the right side of where the water flows back out:confused:
also...anybody used old pillow stuffing as filter media?
thanks in advance:confuzeld:

SAD... let's help....
the tube thingy is probably to get air into the flow of the water... if the filter is running and forcing water through the media,,,then the filter works....everything else is just extra gravy on the potatoes!!!
but the diaolog was funny!!!!

if thats the fact the filter is not working.
We still need to know what brand and model to help...or a picture.

we could make one working filter out of two junkers! how far is your place from my place?
yeah, i was looking at the old stuffing from my pillow thinking, this might make a good mechanical filter (is that the right word for it?):study:
could we meet halfway and maybe have a coffee, beer or whatever?
then i would save on gas...:spend:

pillow stuffing is mechanical filtration, but I wouldn't use the old stuff. I'd go to Michael's and get a big'ol bag for like $4.
