That looks amaing! I've been using the LEDs on my reef for about a year now and the corals just absolutely have gone crazy with growth. ZERO nusiance algae growth either. I'm so excited about this new method of lighting reef tanks, especially those of us with small tanks who get the benefit of VERY affordable fixtures AND we won't cry when it's time to upgrade like those who put LEDs on their large tanks (those units are VERY expensive!). Which did you choose? I have the Stunners on mine, which mounted easily in the canopy. Best of success with your reef!

Thanks, it is a retro fit kite from RapidLED, I bought the kit from a friend that had lost interest before he did anything with the LEDs

There is no fixture, I just built a frame out of aluminum form HD. I nee to find one that I can retro fit with this set up. Its hard though the tank is 18"x20"

This is the next bigg step in aquariums, I am very soon going to build a light canopy for the two tanks I recently acquaired. One is about 115 or so and the other is a 220. I found a site that sells the different bulbs that go in sockets as regular bulbs, they should make the job more simple. There is an unbelieveable assortment of them.

Does anyone know where I could go online to discuss the lighting for larger tanks. DIY that is.
