I haven't tried this but I buy all my food from a forum member who is local, MetroFish.....send him a PM as I'm sure he has something for shrimp with great ingredients and no shipping fees :)

Soundgy gave me some of these and my Taiwan Fire Red went gaga over them. In less than a minute, the food was under a pile of shrimps. I believe about 90% of my shrimps was on top of the food.

I'll recommend.

*I haven't tried any of the Hikari or other shrimp food

Anyone tried this new food out by Azoo for dwarf shrimp?I bought Azoo Max Growth (wafers) and Azoo Max Breeding (wafers) in May. My shrimp like both foods and seem to do well with them. Unfortuantely, like most shrimp foods from overseas, they're pricey. I also use most of the other popular foods available, such as Shrimplab's Shrimpball Cuisine (wafers), Fluval Shrimp Granules, and Hikari Shrimp Cuisine (granules). However, my favorite food to use is Hikari's Sinking Wafers. They're affordable and all bottom dwellers devour them.

In support of Tanya, MetroFish does have algae wafers that appear to be the real deal. All of my bottom feeders like them as well.

The lineup. My favorite, Hikari Sinking Wafers are on the far left.

A few choices....

And a few more.

IMO, any of these foods are suitable for dwarf shrimp development and breeding purposes. Don't be swayed by the hype of pricier foods.... and Do not overfeed!

It's cheaper online like at Drs foster and smith but I've seen them @ Fish Gallery before and im pretty sure all the other big name stores carry them as well
