Got my fish food order from Ken's yesterday. Got 5 lbs of sprilina sticks w/garlic. Opened a bag up and fed some of my pleco tanks, not too much. Came back out into the fish room and it reaked of garlic. Had to open the door out into the garage for some fresh air. Anybody else use this stuff?

Lol! NLS does that too. I don't know how bad smelling ken's food is though as I never used it.

I blended my own frozen food awhile back and put fresh garlic on it. It does not smell as bad compared to garlic in dried food.

Phil, guess we can conclude you don't hang out at Italian restaurants much. LOL I've used food with garlic in it before, but nothing smells as bad as some of the medicated foods. :pukeright:

I was gone all day today and the smell is gone now. I just fed it again so I will see what the room smells like tomorrow morning. I couldn't stand to stay in there is was so bad. I am guessing that is is something I will use occasionally but I have 5 lbs to use up.

I bought some freeze dried daphnia to feed my juvies, but every time I opened the bag I gagged. It was a horrible smell and I finally threw it away.

Thanks for letting us know about the smell. I love garlic, but don't think I want my fish room reeking of it!
