Alright I have read the threads, now where do I pick it up? Went to Homedepot and when I asked for it the paint guy looked at me like I was crazy.

If anyone has seen it on a shelf somewhere lately, please let me know.

Just curious, but why won't you go in a Wal-Mart? Last year, one of my New Year's resolutions was to not shop at or go into a Wal-Mart for an entire year. I totally made that resolution, and I'm all the happier for it (shopping at Target is a MUCH more pleasant experience). My reasons for not going to Wal-Mart weren't anything deep or political (although I'm certain those have some merit as reasons not to do business with that store), but my reasons were just to avoid the miserable experience of being in that environment, parking lot to checkout. So, just curious to your reasons behind not shopping there either.

That's my general beef as well. I typically come out of Walmart terribly frustrated, annoyed, and just over negative. I don't need that in my life =)

But anyway, I'm surprised Home Depot didn't have it. Seems like I recall a good selection of Krylon. Even if they don't carry it, any paint employee worth their salt should have at least *heard* of it.

Ever watched "The High Price of Low Cost"? Or something similar...
It is a documentary about Walmart. Sad...

I shall try to watch that but I haven't had any problems with the Walmarts in McKinney/Allen

I guess it really just depends on the area that you're in and the people that go there

Rust-Oleum has a spray paint for plastic too that I picked up at HD.

Rust-Oleum is also available at Wal-Mart.

I spend as little time in Wally World as possible. I know exactly what I need & where it is, so it's always in and out for me.

CANNOT stand French owned Target, which is pretty much my only other option without a long drive (20-40 vs 5).

Ace carries them as well.

Marcy, I think your problem is the Saginaw Walmart :) I actually enjoyed watching people at saginaw walmart. It makes me feel a bit "elevated" hahah LOL..

Stan, roflmao

I think the local Ace Hardware store carries the Krylon spray-can paints. I'd certainly go there before Wal-Mart. My new New Year's Resolution is to not only not shop at Wal-Mart for an entire year, but to convince at least ONE other person to do the same. That shouldn't be too difficult . . . . :)

OOwl added 2 Minutes and 10 Seconds later...

Oh, and there are entire websites dedicated to Wal-Mart haters such as myself. Look it up! Very interesting to read about. A LOT of employees post on there about how badly they're treated (inhumanely!) and about secrets they don't want the customers to know (some of it is pretty sickening for those of you that purchase your family's food there).

Alright up date. I had to due it, I went. Wally world had it, didn't see the Ace hardware, update wish I would have seen that before. But I don't think you will find it at Lowes or Home depot any more. Sears maybe but the one I went to didn't have a paint department.

Without going into specifics, my father is an executive with Wal-Mart...and even he encourages me to shop at Target/Home Depot/Anything Else.

They might have put food on my table for a while, but they're a purely evil corporation, especially after the last company wide "reorganization".

We try to avoid Walmart because we spend too much money when we go! :hehe: We buy our Krylon fusion paint there too. I rarely have a bad experience and it is typically only from the ending price tag. We do play the price is right though to see which one of us can guess the damage.

Every company has their problems (yes I have seen the documentary more than once). Don't even get me started on the church my mom worked for. Ignorance was definitely bliss. It was an awesome church until you could see behind the scenes. It is different now fortunately. Plus some of the jobs Robert has had. It is a rarity to find a business that isn't corrupt and uses their employees (and I actually love my job).
