I'm just wondering in general. Everytime I hear DAS it is followed by leak or reseal. I don't get it...:confuzeld:

i never had a problem with my two das tanks. i think it because the filter doesn't have silcone around the bottom.
leaky tanks from a country where marijuana and hash use is tolerated........ go figure

I have a 70 gallon DAS. The tank was bought used and I removed the DAS box from the inside. The tank has only been set up about 4-5 months.
No problems....

When I removed the box it did kinda mess up the silicone. Prior to fill up, the old silicone was removed and new silicone was applied.
A fish tank that leaks is like a....................never mind, I can't think of anything that has less than an "R" rating:)
