no, he's not a shovelnose, although similar and part of the same family.

I have a shovelnose that is 18"..

The baby cat that I just got is a M Tigrinus, I had one before at about 16" that was worth well over $ 500 and died due to arsenic poisoning in the water..

WOW thanks for the pics!! beautiful! I would say WOW that's a lot of money.....but people buy dogs that price all the time! I guess they don't think fish are as WORTH it....but I sure do!!! Beautiful!

It's Semiprochilodus Red Flag Tail AKA Fei Feng.

I bought 2 of them, one was 11" and one is 12". Yes, One died during shipping. He was gasping when I received the box and I did everything I could to save him. He's currently in my freezer, I can't seem to throw him away yet.

I also bought the 5" yellow flag tail.

Well, I either spend my money on my cars, buy more guns, go to bar/clubs or buy fish.....I'd rather buy fish :brandy:

This baby pic is the M. Tigrinus. He'll eventually get to be about 24" long...

My old one that died of arsenic was 16" when he died, someone had offered me $ 600 for him at one point :)

I had one of my freshwater tank in my office, with the natural gas drilling they have been doing around here, high asenic content seeped into the water supply and contaminate the water. My aro was almost dead until I was able to revived him same goes with my TSN.

I have a 240 and an 85 gallon, the bigger guys lives in the 240 and the smaller guys are in the 85

yeah, i just got through trading in some juvi's at winnies pets in hurst, i was so happy to get rid of them got .50 a piece. ended up spending 75 dollars at another shop and it all started with a 29gallon given to me with a 3 JD's and a convict....he told me it was a money pit.......i should have listened

still got the SW...I have been contemplating on dowsizing the one of the SW tank to a rimless tank, but not sure yet...

The problem is I like my fish and refuse to sell any of them lol...I can careless about corals, although people seems to like my corals lol
