Lake Cypress Springs

I've got 1/3 acre right off Lake Cypress Springs, anyone fish there??

I've had this place for 3-4 years now, visited 3ish times, lake is calm and clear, no traffic at all. Does anyone fish there or do anything there?? It's like a ghost town there.:confuzeld:Just curious

I hope to spend more time there this year and I can always fish from the peir, but if my buddy brings his boat, I'd like to know where to fish for dinner at best.

BTW, if anyone needs ramp access for a boat or a cheap RV hook up for the night ($10 a night), shoot me a PM, I'll give you the gate # to all the goodies right on the lake.:) I'd like to make some use of my investment.

Dang that sounds like a nice place.

I've been through that area a few times, but never stopped at that lake (I've always been on my way to somewhere else and haven't had time).

I'd definitely help you find the fishing holes if you want. And maybe this spring/summer I'll get my boat up and running again :D.

Heck maybe we can plan a G2G (get together) out there for the spring/summer and do camping, fishing. etc? I might even be able to drag my wife and daughters if there's camping :D

I used to live out near there, never went fishing there much though. I only live 6 miles from Lake Fork so thats where I always went fishing. |We used to go to Lake Cypress to a park they had at the lake, don't know if it's still there or not. It had a huge water slide.
It's an excellent lake for Crappie. Pretty good for Bluegill & Largemouth as well. Alot of old guys I knew liked to fish there. It's kind of a slow lake, not much happening most days.
Bob Sandlin is pretty much right around the corner, since most of the avid anglers hit Lake Fork trying to land the Big One the majority of the lakes in the surrounding area are local folks. They are going to be your best bet on where to fish & what works best.

Yeah I've also heard Lake Fork is were all the buzz is. On the map it looks like Lake Cypress Springs and Lake Bob Sandlin are one lake.

I would definitely like do catch up on my fishing this year (new years resolution :D)
