Laetacara Curviceps

Chris are these the same as your Acaras?

Fish Gallery has a few and they looked nice....

they had some pics in TFH last month of Blues Acaras they were pretty nice looking fish....

I have about 12 of them.

Very docile fish, I like them, but make sure that they are actually Curviceps.

Dorsigera and Curviceps look almost identical and will interbreed. I saw the ones at Fish Gallery but I didnt carefully look at them.

They were blue in color.... Dorsigera are more like little pumpkins right?

yup- they're the mainstay of the community tank- LOVE em. Very calm and pretty colored.

Ok now I get it....

There were 2 tanks both labeled Curviceps.... One over on the end and one in the middle.... I only saw the one on the end before and they were more blue... tonight I saw the other tank and they were very brown.... Those might be Dorsigera....

Maybe we saw the same label but different fish? At any rate the ones I wanted were gone....
