I want one of these fish. They are freaking ADORABLE.
Now, the only thing I would be worried about is with the growth covering their eyes. I've read online that some people have cut the wen of the fish back if it covers their eyes. What would my options be here with that IF it became a problem for my fish?

check out for sale/trade section (ranchu goldfish for sale by Opera) . It has link to video of calico ranchu (lionhead). This fish wen would not cover the eyes.

You have to know how to get ultimate growth on thier heads. I have many an oranda and never got them to have the masive heads. I myself am into the ryukins. Though all are beautiful. And these fish live along time, I have had some of mine 15yr.s now. Good luck enjoy :fish:

Can you elaborate on this "ultimate growth" for me?

I was talking about their wen or hood. On my fish I never got it to fill out like some you see, but I was told they need to be feed mostly live food and I never really did that.
