On a side note, you decide to go with the 1st link,
a 1" piece of sch40 doesn't have a 1" OD.
Been awhile since I put a PI tape to one, but it is 1. or there abouts.
Nice sources though, thanks Andrew.

Yeah, I meant to say... the first source listed isn't actually PVC, it's acrylic so there might not be a 100% match with existing PVC piping on your tank. The second source it true PVC, so it should fit anything while PVC will fit.

Good point.
Example: 1" PVC will have a .133" wall thickness and a 1.315" O.D. with a 1.049" I.D.
1/2" sch 40______.622" I.D.
3/4" sch 40______.824" I.D.
1-1/4" sch 40___1.660" I.D.
1-1/2" sch 40___1.900" I.D.
2" sch 40_______2.067" I.D.

Well I ordered my clear piping from www.clearpvcpipe.com (http://www.clearpvcpipe.com) and I did pay a little more than some of the other links, but I'm 100% sure it'll fit my existing bulkheads and white PVC without a dough.
After I placed the order I realized I forgot something I needed, I sent them a reply to the e-mail confirmation they sent me after I placed the order inquiring about adding the item to my order and within 15 minutes they called me saying they got my e-mail and wanted to double check that I indeed what the added item, # of items added, # of items total, price confirmation, etc. They were on the ball and had all of their ducks in a row.
So far, I'm very impressed with this company.

Maybe they will make up for the fiasco you went through with the thermometer. Whatever happened with that anyway?

So far, I'm really impressed with their Customer Service and the way they run their business. First thing I thought when they called me was "Who the heck is this number", the second thing I thought was "wow, that's really nice to get a call like that and for a company to follow up and make sure they 100% understand what I'm wanting so my order is right the first time"!!!
