I got about 63 of them in 15 minutes. Fixing to go in there with some lettuce and see what i can find...
How often should I do a snail sweep? The largest tonight was about the size of a lemon seed, could anybody use some snails, lol?

:D Nope, no cramps! Didn't even have to deal with the fish...once I had my googlers and flippers on and started to climb in, the fish were gone! I'm thinking that might be due to all the displaced water though.:wha:

What kind of snails?

The brown sort of pointy shelled ones. I never can remember the name but they aren't ramshorn.

trumpet snails???? do you just kill them, or feed them to a pack of killer loaches??

Pointed? Like a waffle cone? or more rounded?
Feed the trumpets to loaches.... From what I have read everyone says they are too hard for puffers. Mine will not touch them.

A crushed shell is no defense against a hungry puffer....

Even crushed mine will not touch the Trumpets. Actually the new small one might but the older one will not, I have not brought any around since I got the new puffer.

Actually, I bought some plants from a guy and had 20-30 snails within 1 week.
I love 'em. If you need to get rid of them let me know I'll take me.
Do they look like this?

They're more like the top one, maybe more brown than that. I have a bowl with about 60 in it. Snail poop everywhere!:twitch:
We bought a zebra loach tonight so maybe I won't have to do anymore sweeps, lol.

They're both the same type of snail MTS, just different individual colors ;)
Let me know how that loach works out. I want to know if (s)he gets 'em all, or just helps control their population.
