Planted Tank Cycle [Archive]

My planted tank....does not seem to want to cycle. The Ammonia is crazy like 5ppm. I have not had a tank that just sat that high.... It has been there for 3 days. Any suggestions? I even used a seasoned filter to help the cycle and nothing.... Boo....

Would Cycle help maybe? I know WalMart sells it and I'm sure your LFS does too...

What plants do you have & how long has it been up & running?

Yeah, spec everything out for us so maybe we can find a reason you over looked.
