Got my pump on order and will be looking for stock for my 450 in a few weeks. Does anyone know a good place to get Cichla Monoculus(Peacock Bass), and Black or silver Arowana? Also I am wanting a catfish but not sure what kind any suggestions?

FYI, Fish gallery usually sells a 10-12" for $ 250-300, so you're getting a deal.

The blacks are about 2 yrs old.

I have a fish a dat that is about 7-8 inches in the same tank and he's fine.

They have about 1% chance of having a drop eye Versus 99% on Silvers.

None of mine have any drop eyes at 22-24"

Thanks for the help everyone. I looked at the Rtc & tsn but Im thinking they get to big for my tank. Any thoughts on that or other cats? My tank foot print is 8'x3'.

I have had them for 2 years, I am in no hurry. Get your tank setup properly, then when it's completely matured and ready, you can come get it.

buy the way the price for the black arowana is very good. i've seen some 10-12 inchers selling for $250 and up.
