anyone have any? I just got 2 from Just for Pets, they look awesome... read online that some keep in freshwater and some keep in brack with success and failure in both, mixed review pretty much. Hopefully i can keep them successfully, Just for Pets have had them for over a month in FW.
Mine are about 6"-8" and are chilling in the 80g with my EBJD. They are very chill and laid back. From what they told me and from what i read, these guys are poisonous but aren't fatal, they will leave your hands numb and painful if the sting you. So i've been very careful dealing with them.
Pics of them are attached.

thanks.
do they have tank mates?
a ~3" EBJD and this weekend im getting 3 small Ind. Datnoids from Stan. I might get 1 or 2 Bichirs (either Ornate or Endli) to complete the tank... then i will have to worry about the 180g im getting from Deco. Oh yea i also have a bunch of Endler fry i threw in as food for them.

I had a couple but they lost a fight with my ex prong. They look pretty cool and do fine in FW but they hide all the time and as far as I know only eat live food. They are realy kinda boring as they never move unless trying to eat. They do make grunting noises from time to time and they can be pretty loud.Good luck with them.

Good website.
I believe they should be in brackish but atleast these two are going to have good water quality which is key. Yes they will bark lol, its really goofy. You probably wont even hear them bark but my SaltWater one does all the time. My moray chases him and tries to eat the shrimp out of his mouth, so he barks. He is neon orange, seen below.

I have handled mine with no pain or anything in the hands... also have handled the freshwater ones as well, nothing happened. I could have just been lucky but until you spoke of it i never heard anything of them being harmful to touch...

maybe a pic or video of feeding?
I got mine trained to hand feed shrimp. With coaxing they are quite easy to train, they are gluttons!

Your nuts! Daddy thinks they are the bomb too!. Nice tank. I love the, "You just took my girl" look on the faces. Danger factor to boot.
