Since Parrots are man made I am not sure if they really fall into any "world" category. I have seen them do well with both africans and new world fish.

Here is a link that can help decifer what combo of fish they are. The creators of the parrot have been pretty tight lipped on the origin of the fish.

My nail salon!! LOL The Vietnamese lady didn't want them in her tiny 45 hex!! SO I put them in a trash bag, and took them home! Not everyone likes them cause they are hybrids.........but I love their attitude! They have been a great addition!
