I may be gearing up for a stock change in my 350g, and interested to see if anyone local might be interested in some of my current stock. Ive got some pretty nice fish IMHO and im not willing to risk shipping any of them. All of the peacock bass were raised from juveniles, ranging from 3-4" when I got them. Heres the list:
Two 14"+ Wild caught Venezuelan Orino Peacock bass
One 14"+ Wild caught Peru Mono Peacock bass...this guy is a stunner
One 10"+ Wild caught Kelberi Peacock bass (Minas Gerais)
One 13" Wild caught Lenticulata Pike cichlid (unknown origin)
One 20"+ Silver Arowana (Rescued from DNA, slight drop eye otherwise very healthy)
One 10" Grey Albino Tiger Oscar
One 10" Standard Tiger Oscar
Not in any huge hurry to let these fish go, and not a must sell type of situation. If anyone is interested in any of these fish let me know :).

I have one fish in my 280 and I am trying to get my 450 up and running so I should be able put some more fish in my 280 right now. Could you post some pics? Would like the oscars and not sure on the bass right now.

Could be interested in the kelberi. Looking for any trades? Got another person interested in the Kelberi as well. Was gonna trade Stan for a similar sized Azul but we never made the deal. Im at the point now where I want to reduce my stock a little so I think just selling is a better option for me at the moment.

TYVM! These guys are spoiled, they eat better than I do lol. They get Cichlid Gold, Massivore, crawfish, silversides, cut tilapia filets, raw shrimp. IMO variety in diet as well as water quality and plenty of space makes for good looking fish.

LOL @ nitrous. Ide love to make this thing a FOWLR tank but my biggest issue is water changes. Not interested in doing 100 gallons of saltwater changes every 2 weeks. Also not interested in investing basically the value of this tank all over again to get the proper skimmers and such. Maybe someday....but as of now got too many other irons on the fire :spend:

You could make a scrubber for the skimmer.
Also you would only need to do 100 gallon water change once a month. Maybe even less with a FOWLR. Buy lace rock instead of LR, and just get live sand. I would say you could skate easily to a SW tank if you sold all your stock/freshwater stuff for SW. I'd actually say you could cover the costs of your SW tank just be out money of the fish, and LR if thats what you wanted.
But i understand money goes in different areas at different times. :D

Yeah it wouldnt be impossible at all. I would want live rock for sure. Live sand would be the only way I would go as well. That would be pricey but doable. Gotta get my sugar momma out of college first lol.
