Tadpoles eat only vegetable matter. They eat algae. They will be safe with your guppies until they have legs. Then they need to be able to get out of the water as they trade their gills for lungs. The frogs eat small insects. You can get frog and tadpole food at your local petstore. HTH!

I had tadpoles and just left them alone until they became frogs. Until then I fed them feeder rosy red minnows and crickets. So dont put a frog with your guppies.

Depends on the size of your tadpole. I raised many small ones with a tank full of gambusia with no problems at all. The frogs were too small to even think about eating a guppy.
