Anyone using this app for other forums? Its a great app. Maybe we can get DFWFISHBOX.com to register on tapatalk.com website in order for us to use it.

Ok... splain... I recently got the Evo and downloaded Tapatalk but haven't really messed with it much. What exactly does it do?

This app works with Iphone, Android, Blackberry, and Nokia. It's free to use or $2.99 for the full version that allows you to post and a few other things. I've had a chance to check in to this app further and so far I like it. Quick, easy, no frills- Great for mobile access.
Any feedback, good or bad?
I have the RO version of this so far. Not sure I want to buy the entire app since I rarely post replies on my iPhone (I'm too wordy to type that much on the iPhone keyboard). Is fishbox available on Tapatalk? I didn't see it listed.

Its not listed at the moment but it would be great to have access to it.

I'd love a better option for browsing the fishbox on my phone, so I'll download the free version today. I'm with Marci - I don't know if I'd ever post from my phone, but I definitely use the phone to check in on new messages, look up a phone number from my PMs, etc.

DFWMAS has Tapatalk if you want to see what it would look like on a local forum.

I use it all the time
I played with Taptalk on the DFWMAS forum and it really was MUCH faster than typical navigation, so that would be really nice to have on the forums I visit most often. How difficult is it for forums to sign on with them? Cost? I'll buy the full version when Fishbox subscribes.

Doesn't seem difficult at all. Kinda like downloading an add-on for other types of software. Skipp would have more insight in this area.
Best part is it appears to be no charge to forums. :)

Did we ever get registered to work with Tapatalk? I'd love to try it out. Maybe I'll just have to go download it and see if we're on there.

It seems to be working! You da man, Skipp!
I was able to login and browse the forums last night on an iPhone 3GS. I couldn't find a way to post, which means I probably need to buy the paid version. I will do so today.
Thanks for setting this up.

As soon as I get a chance I'll see if we can find a work around to get Tapatalk working again.

Thanks Andrew. I haven't used this app, but it sounds cool. It's a drag trying to click the tiny "New Posts" and "Private Messages" links in iPhone's browser.

Very welcome... not saying we can fix the issue, but will at least look into it (or stay on top of the app updates, etc.)
Everyone does realize we have a "mobile" theme? I fine it pretty easy to use on my Android phone.
At the bottom left-hand corner of the screen is the drop-down box with the options.

Ah, that mobile version helps. Thanks! The action links are still to small for my taste - it might help to simply add more whitespace (via padding, margins, or even line breaks).

With a 2.5" screen the links are small on mine phone as well, but for mobile access it works ;).

I guess I'm kinda of lucky considering I have a monster of a screen.
The site comes up perfectly fine on my android browser, but like I said, I have a monster of a screen on the Evo.

I use Tapatalk on a couple of forums and am very happy with it. The main reason I don't frequent this forum as much is because the hassle on the phone, even in mobile mode. I usually only log in when I am at my desk, if I am not too busy. The other forums I can check with ease multiple times thruout the day with Tapatalk.
