Well, not sure if this is an actual problem or normal. Sure doesn't seem normal to me!

Found one of my female mollies at the bottom of the tank, kinda on her side. On closer examination, I could see what appears to be a cluster of egg sacs hanging out. I put her in the iso tank and she seems ok, except for the protruding egg sacs.

Should I be concerned or do anything else?

Sorry... Pics are bad. Cell phone pics suck.

That is weird...

I dunno... I would probably keep her in ISO and see what happens. Just my .02 and what I would do....

Makes me hurt too. She's not acting like she's uncomfortable though. Animals are amazing in that respect.

It's definately not her guts. I thought that at first until I got a good look at her. These are round balls stuck together. Definately something to do with the breeding department. I hope she comes through this. She's one that is so tame, I can catch her with my hands.

Thanks RN. The guy at DNA gave me some advise so if it ever happens again, hopefully I can make the outcome a bit nicer.

BTW, he suggested putting her in isolation and add Epson Salt to the water. Apparently, it causes a laxative reaction that perhaps would have enabled her to expell the blockage. If that didn't work, he suggested massaging her stomach to help her along. I'll file that in the "Hope I Never Have To Use This Info" file.
