Everything ive read, tells me to stay away from more than two or three rock piles. That little pile in the corner gives the holding females somewhere to spit.

no, thats how it was when i bought it. The only change i made, was painting the back of the tank black. I actually thought it was all white also, but was pleasantly surprised.
